Washington Butler of Puyallup Washington, was always fascinated with the arts. She sang in choirs entered contests for singing and also performed in the community theatre and in high school. She moved from Los Angeles in order to learn at The University of Southern California and later played Belle her princess role for a period of one and a half years in Disneyland. After college, she and set her sights on getting an agent to represent her talents and then began casting for roles in TV and in film. Butler guest starred on her own TV series CSI: Miami. She was awarded the title in I Spit on Your Grave which was a remake of the 1978 film of the same title. Butler played Jennifer Hills, a writer who gets assaulted by a group in a forest. The character is determined to get revenge against her attackers. Directed by Steven R. Monroe the film premiered on October 8th of 2010. The film was released in November 2011. Butler along with Estella Warren started filming the psychological thriller The Stranger Within in Mallorca the Spanish island of Mallorca. The film was originally planned to be shot at Copenhagen Denmark, New York City and New York City as well. Butler co-starred with Michael Welch in 2013's horror film The Demented.
